   The App Store launch is here. The full Family Operating System - chores, habits, goals, routines, and multi-currency rewards - is now available on iPhone and iPad.

   Reward kids the way that actually motivates them - screen time, points and stars, treats, or money. Each child gets a personal shadow wallet that tracks what they've earned, so effort always adds up to something real.

   Age-adaptive personas, Seedling to Independent

   Pumpkin meets each child where they are with five stages - Seedling (4-6), Explorer (7-9), Achiever (10-12), and Independent (13+). Language, visuals, and responsibility scale automatically as kids grow.

   Screen-time banking, Money Missions & custody-week scheduling

   Kids can earn, expire, or bank screen-time minutes as a family source-of-truth balance; learn through playful Money Missions quizzes grounded in real education standards; and - for two-home families - follow their chores and routines across homes with custody-week scheduling. Parent approval workflows keep you in the loop on what counts.

The story so far

Before the public launch

1. November 2025

   Closed pilot in real homes

   Pumpkin went into a closed pilot with a small group of families. Watching real kids and parents use it every day reshaped the reward flow, the approval steps, and how each persona feels to use.

2. August 2025

   Testing with families

   Bridget put early builds in the hands of friends' families, gathering feedback and rebuilding after every round. What started as a simple chore tracker grew into a full family operating system.

3. April 2025

   From idea to prototype

   The first working prototype came together - the multi-currency wallet, the age-adaptive personas, and the teacher-reviewed financial-literacy content that Pumpkin is built on today.
